In recent years Aik Saath has developed an exciting relationship with partners in Northern Ireland.

Our Northern Irish friends educate us about The Troubles and Slough’s young people, as residents of the most diverse place in the UK outside London, provide an insight into the various communities that make up our town.

The young people from both places compare and contrast their lives – they learn about each other and even about themselves through reflection.

Young people from Long Tower Youth Centre and Our Streets Project from Derry-Londonderry visited us earlier this year. As part of their visit, we recorded over four hours of conversations between the young people. These recordings have been edited down to create this podcast.
